Charles Whitman
August 1st 1966 Charles Whitman age 25, murdered his mother and his wife by stabbing them in the heart. He then prepared several shotguns and other assorted weapons before going to the observation deck of the University of texas and started shooting at random. He killed 16 people in total and wounded 32 others. He left a suicide note requesting an autopsy after his death for them to get some sort of insight into his homicidal feelings and his constant headaches. Police eventually shot Whitman to death during the siege. The death was ruled justifiable homicide. An autopsy on Whitman later revealed he had an astrocytoma tumour the size of a pecan.
